How it works

Use the data you already have. TRIGGERMINT helps you identify issues and prepare the UK EPR reporting output without rebuilding the process from scratch.

1Upload existing data

Start with your current sales, product and packaging data. The production workflow supports CSV, Excel/XLSX, APIs, SFTP and connected sales channels.

2Validate & correct

Check required fields, structure, packaging mapping, missing values and inconsistencies, then resolve the items that need attention.

3Generate the reporting file

Create the UK EPR reporting output from the validated data and retain the supporting validation history in the workspace.

Frequently asked questions

Short answers to the questions customers normally have before connecting data or opening a workspace.

Who is TRIGGERMINT for?
UK-established businesses that need to assess, prepare or automate UK Packaging EPR data, as well as businesses that already use a compliance scheme and want a cleaner data workflow.
Can I keep my existing compliance scheme?
Yes. TRIGGERMINT is designed to sit upstream of your existing scheme. It can consolidate, validate and prepare the data while your current scheme remains in place.
What happens in the anonymous data check?
The anonymous check reads CSV, TSV or TXT data locally in your browser and shows only aggregate metrics such as row count, SKU count, missing values and a data-health score. Detailed mappings remain locked until the workspace is activated.
Can I connect marketplaces and shops?
The platform architecture supports marketplace, shop, ERP, API, SFTP and file-based feeds. Native live connections depend on the credentials, scopes and approvals made available by each external platform.
Does TRIGGERMINT automatically submit my regulatory return?
The system can automate data preparation and create submission-ready files. Direct submission is only used where an authorised technical interface and the customer's authority are available. Otherwise the final file is made available in the workspace for submission by the customer or its compliance scheme.
How does the workspace decide whether I am a Small or Large Producer?
The basic check uses the current UK Packaging EPR worldwide annual-turnover and packaging-weight thresholds. The result is an initial workflow classification, not individual legal advice; the actual producer status also depends on the organisation's activities and facts.
What do I receive after payment?
A customer workspace with data-source management, packaging master data, compliance checks, report preparation, invoice archive, secure document area, regulatory alerts, company settings and an audit trail.
Can I download my data and reports?
Yes. Paid customers can deliberately export their own report files and supporting documents. Sample reporting files are available separately for format reference; production customer outputs are generated only from validated customer data.
Is TRIGGERMINT a law firm, tax adviser or Packaging Compliance Scheme?
No. The platform is a compliance-data and automation service. It does not provide individual legal or tax advice and does not transfer the customer's statutory producer responsibility. It should not be described as an approved Packaging Compliance Scheme unless that status has been separately obtained and verified.
How is my data handled?
Production processing is governed by the Privacy Notice and applicable service/data-processing terms. The anonymous preview is designed so raw preview data remains local to the browser. Production uploads and account data are handled in the secured customer environment.
